Hired!

Well~~~....

I got hired by FedEx :3!!!!

Woo!! (runs around in circles!!) Out of 13 people, they had 4 slots left and I was a sure win. :3

Woke up at 8 am... took me a couple of tries to roll out of bed, but once I got my feet on the floor, I was set. I had set up my clothes last night. I had a tie, overcoat, blue shirt and a white t-shirt with some pants that were a very soothing black.

Ok- cool. Took my shower and brushed my teeth vigirously. I knew it was going to be warm and I didn't want the warm temperatuers to get to me.

My dad had made some boiled eggs and I took while I was dressing. After getting my shirts and tie on, I kept thinking about my past interviews and how I didn't like them the last time... turns out I really hate having dry hands... they make me look... like I was a hobo or something.

I slicked my hair back to give it a more professional look, then I asked my dad and brother to help me find cuff-links and black socks... Go figure... little things I forget. It didn't take me long to get a hold of them. After I was out the door, my cell phone had been silenced before I got in the car, didn't bring my radio because it would break my concentration, and I kept my wallet in my side pocket... yep. After that I left the driveway and completely obeyed the traffic rules... I didn't want a FML situation where I got pulled over for the first time... ever... and be late for a good interview. When I arrived I gave myself a little confidence boost... >.> I .. um... snapped and pointed in the mirror and said 'hot'... .... Never doing that again...

Walked in and saw the receptionist, she looked at me and smiled and instructed me to have a seat, I sat my ass down and said thank you....

Ok- on a side note... I am hungry... but I will eat in a bit...

Anyways, I was asked questions about my past, and what I wanted to do. I told him honestly that I did some minor work with my father, helped with my mother's business once or twice, and that I wanted to work the early bird shift. I also stated a bit when I was involved in AFJROTC high school, he was curious why I didn't receive any scholarships of any kind- I told him I was in band for a year when I was suppose to be in AFJROTC to to do that. Blah blah blah, he seemed pretty impressed and told me there were 4 slots left and I was definately getting one... I was so happy I wanted to chop the desk in half and scream "fuck yeah" but I contained myself >.> After that, I shook his hand for the second time, and walked to the desk to obtain the card that he handed me with the number of the office to contact them if I didn't hear from them within a week; they had to file out paperwork and such. So yeah, that was that. I came home, told the folks the news and that's it. :3
