Faux

Today was interesting, had a bad event, but it all turned out well in the end. Around 11, I decided to go hang out with john and brian again today. Also, I had an intention to collect money that was owed to me. I didn't get my hopes up too much being that I knew the guy was flakey.

I met john at the bus stop, but since they were doing so much construction there- it was hard to tell where the real stop was. We had heard the bus was on the other street where the stop usually resides, so we had to dash over to the intersection corner to make sure we didn't miss the thing. Turns out the driver would have made a mistake if we didn't make our move at that time. This one guy that was there walking with us cussed an awful lot which was a bit of a buzzkill... kind of degrades the fact that I live in the same neighborhood as that guy... *shudders*

Anyways, we meet up with Brian at the Towne Center, we hang out there for a bit and get some cheap Chinese food, it was all right... if it wasn't cold. Moving on.

They knew I had an intention to collect some funds from the guy but I thought I would keep in mind that the guy was a prick and not get my hopes up. Ok, so we're making our way there and pretty much, I ask around all these places but the people that work there... and the people around them... honestly... I would've done what the shooter would've done... >.> I mean really, you don't pull that kind of crap there.

I was a bit pissed off from the whole thing, but Brian decided to go out for some Baskin Robins, I haven't had that in years. He got me a strawberry thing, with a cinnamon wafer bowl, that cheered me right up.

We ranted for a while and walked back to the transit to head back home. Blah- I am just tired from the heat...

All I can remember now were these kids that were chanting "Whale Fish" in the dollar store... that bugged me in an odd way... Kids... remember, if you want some one's respect don't give them a nickname like skinny... especially if you're asking for money... I wanted to pop him upside his head for saying that.

Maybe I am just overheated... I can't sleep and I've been reading a lot of books recently... mainly Kanji books; I am really hoping things turn out much better in the long run.
